Far West Open J4/5 GS & Slalom Feb 9th & 10th The Mt. Shasta Ski Team, Mt. Shasta Race Association and Mt. Shasta Ski Park are so excited to be hosting this race. We look forward to providing a memorable racing experience here on our mountain. The Mt. Shasta Ski Park is a small, locally-owned ski resort where you'll find that you can relax and enjoy the hustle and bustle free environment. The links below will help you plan your weekend here in our area and make the most of racing and visiting Mt. Shasta. For lodging and dining info, visit: The Mt. Shasta Chamber and Visitors Bureau for info specifically at Mt. Shasta, which is about a 20 minute drive from the Ski Park and located just off Interstate 5. Lodging is also available in the small, historic community of McCloud, which sits to the east of the Ski Park, and is also about a 20 minute drive. Check out the McCloud Chamber website. Shasta Ski Park, visit their site at www.skipark.com The Ski Park is offering discounted lift tickets to athletes for $15 per race day. Parents will be able to safely walk up to the finish arena should you choose not to purchase a lift ticket. The walk takes about 10 minutes up a very gentle slope.
