high school image 1The Mt Shasta Race Association provides on-hill training camps as well as weekly race training for high school racers and hosts local races for the North I and North II divisions of the California Nevada Interscholastic Ski and Snowboard Federation (CNISSF). Coming from all over Northern California, approximately 200 high school athletes participate each year in training and races at the Mt Shasta Ski Park. North I division is comprised of Butte Valley, Etna, Mt Shasta, Surprise Valley, Weed and Yreka High Schools. North II Division includes Enterprise, Ferndale, Foothill, Mercy, NAWA, Red Bluff and Shasta High Schools.

Although CNISSF is responsible for course setting and running the races, the Mt Shasta Race Association provides logistical support and timing services, as well as all of the equipment necessary to stage the events.
